At Poppit’s Playhouse, we design and build cutting edge, high quality mobility solutions for small dogs who deserve to keep exploring the world with confidence.
Our flagship product, the GO Wheelchair, is a lightweight rear support mobility cart made specifically for dogs 5–15 lbs. We combine strong American made carbon fiber tubing, precision 3D-printed components, and a thoughtfully designed harness and stirrup system to create aids that are comfortable, durable, and most importantly , fun for both dogs and their human companions.
Everything we make is guided by our core belief: “Load through the bones, not the breath.” We obsess over tracheal relief, gentle support, and real world usability so dogs can enjoy sniff walks, zoomies, and everyday adventures again without discomfort, stress or restriction.
What really separates us from most traditional dog wheelchairs is that most wheelchairs out there put dangerous pressure on the throat and trachea area. For small dogs like Poppit, who often suffer from a naturally collapsing tracheal canal, this can trigger scary coughing fits and breathing struggles. Watching your dog fight for air is heartbreaking and helpless.
We refused to accept that. Our one of a kind 3D-printed harness is designed differently. Instead of loading through the breath, we load through the bones. It features a wide 40 mm tracheal relief channel and uses multi zone, multi durometer TPU filament for the perfect balance of comfort, support and style.
Developed through real observations of Poppit, as well as case studies, and strict performance data, this harness lets dogs approach and use the GO Wheelchair with natural confidence, breathing freely, moving comfortably, and feeling supported instead of restricted.
From our workshop in California, we hand build each chair with care, test every detail with patience and vigor, while adopting continuous improvement methods based on real dogs and the people who love them. Our goal is simple: help more small dogs live fuller, happier lives while making premium mobility aids accessible and affordable.
